As a Junior Ice Housey,

• you must have at least 0 – 1 year of relevant experience as Software Engineer in a related platform.
• You are able to execute low complexity tasks.

We have two paths to being an IceHousey Staff as below.

Staff I: You must have at least 1 – 3 years of relevant experience as a software Engineer with at least 1 full software lifecycle.

Staff II:  You must have at least 2 – 4 years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer with at least 2 full software lifecycles.

Other requirements:

• You will have a general working knowledge of architecture.
• You are able to execute a mid-complexity task.
• As a Software Engineer, you must have the ability to do Unit Testing.

The requirements for a Senior include:

• You will have at least 4 years of experience in relevant experience as a Software Engineer with at least 3 full software lifecycles.
• You must have published at least 2 apps in the market.
• You are able to execute a mid to high complexity task.
• You are able to mentor Junior or Staff Levels on technical and professional development.

You are responsible for:

• designing and developing scalable, reliable, and testable applications
• reviewing design and code to ensure quality and best practices.

Being a Lead or Principal Engineer at Ice House, you would need to:

• have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience as a Software Developer in a related platform
• At least 5 full software lifecycles
• Published at least 3 apps in the market.
• Manage & grow a team of Junior & Staff level Engineers on technical & professional development.

You are also responsible to:

• design & develop scalable, reliable, and testable applications
• review design & code to ensure quality & best practices.

In order to be an Engineering Manager at Ice House,

• You need at least 5 years of experience in a Technical role
• You must have 4 years in a Management role.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing different stages of the development process with a focus on quality and process execution
• Improving and revise Ice House Engineering process and its efficiencies.

You are also managing directly on the Senior Engineers and provide career coaching to Senior Engineers.

As Head of Engineering at Ice House,

You are required to have a minimum of:

• 5 years of experience in a Technical role
• 7 years in a progressive Management role

Qualities include being able to:

• Oversee different stages of the development process with a focus on quality and process execution
• Manage directly on the Senior Engineering & Senior QA team
• Implement strategies on Staffing and Department development plans that align with business needs
• Provide career coaching to Senior Engineers and QA team.
