Monday Demo Ever wanted to try your skills as a barista? Well every Monday morning we kickstart our week with a fresh brew from the office coffee machine. Once caffeinated we gather around for a a live demo of the latest App builds that the teams showcase so you can see first hand what all the teams are working on before anyone does.
Chill Thursday Every Thursday afternoon we take a break at 4pm to “Chill” and catch up with our fellow Icehouseys to eat, drink and celebrate each others achievements whether it’s a work anniversary or a birthday! We also have a ping pong table, darts and video games for those who are a little more competitive!
GeekTalk session As part of our obsession with learning, we host a series of “Geek Talks” once a month to hear from employees and guest speakers on the latest trends and updates in all things tech so we’re always on the cutting edge to push the limits in software development

Team Building We talk a lot about tech but really the secret behind every great app starts with having a great team. So twice a quarter our teams get together to decide how they want to reward themselves and hangout together; whether it’s an extra long lunch, dinner or an escape room the choice is yours.

Karaoke, Bowling & Movie Night Once every quarter, we also host a company wide social activity that in the past has included Bowling, Movies and even Karaoke. So if you have song that you love singing in the shower, be ready to bring for your 15mins of karaoke fame.

Rooftop BBQ On some special occasions such as Halloween, Independence Day, Break Fasting or our End of Year Party, we’ve been known to host some epic BBQs on our very own private Rooftop with some of the best views of South Jakarta. Even our alumni have been known to stop by for a bite and drink, because once an IceHousey always an IceHousey!

Muay Thai / Yoga session You’ll notice a lot of our activities involve food, so we try find some balance by keeping fit with our company active programs. Every Wednesday after work you can find a few people blowing off some steam with some hand to hand combat training taught by our very own Muay Thai coach.
If you prefer something a little more chill, we also have free Yoga Classes to keep cool – Namaste
Outing / Virtual Outing The real highlight of the year has to be our company outing which gives all staff the chance to travel and explore the beautiful sites of Indonesia! Our trips have included everything from catching a break in the relaxing beaches of Bali to off-road 4×4 driving through the mountains and rivers of Yogyakarta.

Employee Wellness Program No matter what you do, to perform at your best requires a positive and healthy state of mind. So at Ice House we take the mental health and wellbeing of our employees seriously. Once a month we have an Independent Wellness Coach available for private sessions to discuss anything that’s on your mind whether it’s work, family or something else.
This service is completely private so nothing discussed will be ever be shared with HR or your Manager unless you ask.
Ice Hackathon At Ice House, once a year we take a break from building apps for our clients and give our teams the creative freedom to design and build an innovative solution which solves a real problem for our end users.
The only catch is everyone has less than 24 hours to finish before showing the live demo in front of everyone. Don’t worry we have enough Ice Tea, Red Bull & Pizza to fuel you through the night!
