2012 - 2014
Ice House partnered with Qualcomm and Gimbal to build Indonesia’s first mall app with bluetooth beacon experience. Beacon technology provides indoor location functionality based on proximity to the installed beacons. Mall visitors could participate in treasure hunts which would unlock content with augmented reality based on their indoor location. For this we created the iOS, Android and Backend including Gimbal connections to support this experience.
