Footprints MD was the first app of its kind to use Geo Fencing technology, which was developed in partnership with Qualcomm and Gimbal, focussed on medical sales representatives. Whenever the sales rep would get in proximity of a hospital, he or she would get a notification with the orders to be fulfilled for that customer or potential customers. In the backend a dashboard was provided to monitor the sales force activity.
